CDC Has Not Been Transparent With the American Public on COVID

An article published this past weekend in The New York Times highlights a glaring problem with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and its policy recommendations related to the pandemic during the past two years. The problem has to do with lack of transparency regarding hospitalizations for COVID-19 and the effectiveness of vaccinations for the illness.1 2 The Times article, written by Apoorva Mandavilli, starts out:

For more than a year, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has collected data on hospitalizations for Covid-19 in the United States and broken it down by age, race and vaccination status. But it has not made most of the information public. When the C.D.C. published the first significant data on the effectiveness of boosters in adults younger than 65 two weeks ago, it left out the numbers for a huge portion of that population: 18- to 49-year-olds…1 3

Two full years into the pandemic, the agency leading the country’s response to the public health emergency has published only a tiny fraction of the data it has collected, several people familiar with the data said.

Former CDC Director Thinks Agency Should Let COVID Data Speak for Itself

According to CDC spokesperson, Kristen Nordlund, one of the reasons for the lack of data transparency is because “basically, at the end of the day, [the data is] not yet ready for prime time,” noting that the CDC’s “priority when gathering any data is to ensure that it’s accurate and actionable.”1 In an interview with Fox News, former CDC director Robert Redfield, MD confirmed this view, saying…

One of the things is that CDC has a tendency to look at data and make sure that they believe that data is accurate. They call it curating the data. So very frequently the data is out of sync to be able to be in real-time to respond.4

But Dr. Redfield suggested that he disagreed with this practice. He said that he believes whatever data the CDC collects should “absolutely get out there in real-time.” He added:

I think the best thing for CDC to do is to tell the American public the truth and let the data there. I’m sure the American public is intelligent enough to understand the explanations. I know there’s a concern that they have that the data may somehow be misinterpreted to determine the efficacy of the vaccines, rather than just tell people the truth.4

CDC Reluctance to Track COVID “Breakthrough Cases” Due to Fear of Contributing to Vaccine Hesitancy

Nordlund reportedly said that another reason for the CDC’s hesitancy to be more transparent was due to fear that its data might be misinterpreted–that information about the number of fully vaccinated people “breakthrough” SARS-CoV-2 infections, for example, could lead to concerns about the effectiveness of the COVID shots.1 2

Epidemiologist Jessica Malaty Rivera, MS, who was a member of the team that ran The COVID Tracking Project,5 dismissed the CDC worries about incomplete data being misinterpreted. She said, “We are at a much greater risk of misinterpreting the data with data vacuums, than sharing the data with proper science, communication and caveats.”

During the past two years, the CDC has frequently been criticized for its COVID and COVID vaccine data collection practices, its mixed and confusing messaging and a growing perception that the agency has not been fully transparent with the American public regarding the pandemic.6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16

Perhaps one of the clearest examples of the CDC’s failure to provide timely and accurate COVID-related information is the agency’s inability or unwillingness to adequately track the number of cases in which fully vaccinated (and boosted) individuals have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2. Because of this, it is not known how many “breakthrough cases” there have been in the United States. Consequently, there is no way to know for sure how effective the COVID shots have been in preventing the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and COVID illness.

This represents a huge and fundamental scientific knowledge gap underlying the primary tool the U.S. government has aggressively pushed on the American people to deal with COVID. But this is only part of the problem. That other part has to do with the lack of reliable information regarding the number of people in the U.S. who have been hospitalized with COVID.

In April 2021, the CDC arbitrarily decided to stop tracking coronavirus breakthrough cases so that it could focus on tracking only breakthrough cases that resulted in hospitalization or death. The assumption was that this major change in policy would allow the agency to more accurately gauge the number of vaccinated people being hospitalized for COVID and, by extension, the overall number of people hospitalized for the illness.12

CDC System for Tracking COVID Hospitalizations in Need of Overhaul

But it has recently come to light that the system the CDC has been using to count COVID hospitalizations is deeply flawed. According to an article in Politico on Feb. 7, 2021 titled “Biden officials trying to recalculate U.S. Covid-19 hospitalizations,” the U.S. government has established a task force to work with “hospitals nationwide to improve COVID-19 reporting.” The task force wants hospitals to report the number of patients who are hospitalized because they have COVID and separate those from the patients who are hospitalized for other reasons but test positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus after being admitted.17 18

As reported by The Vaccine Reaction earlier this month:

What this suggests is that, in the past, U.S. hospitals have been counting people hospitalized for reasons other than COVID as COVID patients if they happened to test positive for SARS-CoV-2 after admission. This would have the effect of increasing hospital COVID case counts, making the effects of COVID on U.S. hospitals appear worse than they actually were. Remember all those media reports about how overwhelmed hospitals were with COVID patients? It now appears that at least some of that reporting may have been inaccurate, even grossly inaccurate.18

So not only do we not know how effective the COVID shots have been in real-world circumstances, we do not know how many vaccinated (or unvaccinated) people have been hospitalized for COVID–which means that we really do not know how many people have actually died of COVID, in general. It is no wonder the CDC has consistently found it so difficult to be forthcoming.

Eight Industrial Hygienists Author 27 Page Rebuttal Letter Addressing CDC’s Flawed Mask Guidance

The mask guidance that was put forth by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is pseudoscientific garbage, according to a new 27-page letter sent by eight industrial hygienists to the three-letter agency.

Stephen Petty and Tyson Gabriel, two friends of Steve Kirsch, are among the authors of the letter, which was also forwarded to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and several top government officials including CDC Director Rochelle Walensky and National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) head Tony Fauci.

The professional experts who penned the letter have nearly 150 years of combined experience in their field, and they say they are “highly concerned with the inaccurate and misleading guidance being promoted by the CDC” concerning face masks for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19).

The guidance is “overly broad” and “inaccurate,” the letter states, and is “especially inappropriate for children and the general public.”

The four key points made in the letter read as follows:

1) The general population and especially children should not be wearing N-95 masks to try to prevent infection and spread because this is unproven.

2) The CDC’s mask guidance conflicts with the mask manufacturers’ recommendations as well as worldwide standard practice and even the CDC’s own guidance, and it was imposed without an appropriate risk-benefit analysis.

3) The CDC continues to ignore the fact that the Fauci Flu is primarily spread through aerosols, not droplets, rendering them useless.

4) The CDC’s position on masks lacks proper scientific justification and creates potential harm by giving the general public a false sense of security when wearing one.

The hygienists also sent their peer-reviewed letter to the CDC’s Office of Scientific Integrity

Another recipient of the peer-reviewed letter was the Office of Scientific Integrity at the CDC, which is supposed to keep a close eye on the agency to ensure that its recommendation and guidance protocols are scientifically accurate.

In an email to [email protected], the hygienists explained that their peer review, entitled “Types of Masks and Respirators” and last updated on Jan. 28, 2022, shows that the CDC’s mask guidance “does not meet the scientific integrity that we have come to expect from HHS and all affiliated agencies.”

“Please review the findings in our report,” the email goes on to read.

“We strongly encourage your team to remove this publication from use and publish an acknowledgement of the concerns. We are willing to discuss our findings further at your request. We appreciate your time and look forward to a response.”

Chances are, there is nobody left at the CDC with any semblance of scientific integrity, so this email and the letter itself is probably already in the trash bin or the spam box. But at least they tried.

Meanwhile, the continued existence of the CDC is a detriment to society and to public health. The agency is run by tyrants and psychopaths who could not care less about the health of Americans or anyone else, and have made that abundantly clear throughout the plandemic.

Kirsch says that he does not expect the CDC to ever admit that it did anything wrong, asking the question: “When was the last time you saw that happen?”

The answer is never because neither the CDC nor any other government agency is ever wrong, according to the people who run the system. The reality is that they are purposelywrong because they have a different agenda than what they present on the surface.

“Steve, nurses know the fact that masks do not protect or prevent viruses from getting to you,” wrote someone who reads Kirsch’s blog. “We were taught that in Microbiology 101!”

I was in Eastern Europe in 1989, reporting on the revolutions that overthrew the ossified communist dictatorships that led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. It was a time of hope. NATO, with the breakup of the Soviet empire, became obsolete. President Mikhail Gorbachev reached out to Washington and Europe to build a new security pact that would include Russia. Secretary of State James Baker in the Reagan administration, along with the West German Foreign Minister Hans-Dietrich Genscher, assured the Soviet leader that if Germany was unified NATO would not be extended beyond the new borders. The commitment not to expand NATO, also made by Great Britain and France, appeared to herald a new global order. We saw the peace dividend dangled before us, the promise that the massive expenditures on weapons that characterized the Cold War would be converted into expenditures on social programs and infrastructures that had long been neglected to feed the insatiable appetite of the military.

There was a near universal understanding among diplomats and political leaders at the time that any attempt to expand NATO was foolish, an unwarranted provocation against Russia that would obliterate the ties and bonds that happily emerged at the end of the Cold War. 

How naive we were. The war industry did not intend to shrink its power or its profits. It set out almost immediately to recruit the former Communist Bloc countries into the European Union and NATO. Countries that joined NATO, which now include Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia were forced to reconfigure their militaries, often through hefty loans, to become compatible with NATO military hardware.

There would be no peace dividend. The expansion of NATO swiftly became a multi-billion-dollar bonanza for the corporations that had profited from the Cold War. (Poland, for example, just agreed to spend $ 6 billion on M1 Abrams tanks and other U.S. military equipment.) If Russia would not acquiesce to again being the enemy, then Russia would be pressured into becoming the enemy. And here we are. On the brink of another Cold War, one from which only the war industry will profit while, as W. H. Auden wrote, the little children die in the streets.

The consequences of pushing NATO up to the borders with Russia — there is now a NATO missile base in Poland 100 miles from the Russian border — were well known to policy makers. Yet they did it anyway. It made no geopolitical sense. But it made commercial sense. War, after all, is a business, a very lucrative one. It is why we spent two decades in Afghanistan although there was near universal consensus after a few years of fruitless fighting that we had waded into a quagmire we could never win.

In a classified diplomatic cable obtained and released by WikiLeaks dated February 1, 2008, written from Moscow, and addressed to the Joint Chiefs of Staff, NATO-European Union Cooperative, National Security Council, Russia Moscow Political Collective, Secretary of Defense, and Secretary of State, there was an unequivocal understanding that expanding NATO risked an eventual conflict with Russia, especially over Ukraine.

“Not only does Russia perceive encirclement [by NATO], and efforts to undermine Russia’s influence in the region, but it also fears unpredictable and uncontrolled consequences which would seriously affect Russian security interests,” the cable reads. “Experts tell us that Russia is particularly worried that the strong divisions in Ukraine over NATO membership, with much of the ethnic-Russian community against membership, could lead to a major split, involving violence or at worst, civil war. In that eventuality, Russia would have to decide whether to intervene; a decision Russia does not want to have to face. . . . Dmitri Trenin, Deputy Director of the Carnegie Moscow Center, expressed concern that Ukraine was, in the long-term, the most potentially destabilizing factor in U.S.-Russian relations, given the level of emotion and neuralgia triggered by its quest for NATO membership . . . Because membership remained divisive in Ukrainian domestic politics, it created an opening for Russian intervention. Trenin expressed concern that elements within the Russian establishment would be encouraged to meddle, stimulating U.S. overt encouragement of opposing political forces, and leaving the U.S. and Russia in a classic confrontational posture.”

The Obama administration, not wanting to further inflame tensions with Russia, blocked arms sales to Kiev. But this act of prudence was abandoned by the Trump and Biden administrations. Weapons from the U.S. and Great Britain are pouring into Ukraine, part of the $1.5 billion in promised military aid. The equipment includes hundreds of sophisticated Javelins and NLAW anti-tank weapons despite repeated protests by Moscow. 

The United States and its NATO allies have no intention of sending troops to Ukraine. Rather, they will flood the country with weapons, which is what it did in the 2008 conflict between Russia and Georgia. 

The conflict in Ukraine echoes the novel “Chronicle of a Death Foretold” by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.  In the novel it is acknowledged by the narrator that “there had never been a death more foretold” and yet no one was able or willing to stop it. All of us who reported from Eastern Europe in 1989 knew the consequences of provoking Russia, and yet few have raised their voices to halt the madness.  The methodical steps towards war took on a life of their own, moving us like sleepwalkers towards disaster. 

Once NATO expanded into Eastern Europe, the Clinton administration promised Moscow that NATO combat troops would not be stationed in Eastern Europe, the defining issue of the 1997 NATO-Russia Founding Act on Mutual Relations. This promise again turned out to be a lie. Then in 2014 the U.S. backed a coup against the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych who sought to build an economic alliance with Russia rather than the European Union. Of course, once integrated into the European Union, as seen in the rest of Eastern Europe, the next step is integration into NATO.  Russia, spooked by the coup, alarmed at the overtures by the EU and NATO, then annexed Crimea, largely populated by Russian speakers. And the death spiral that led us to the conflict currently underway in Ukraine became unstoppable. 

The war state needs enemies to sustain itself. When an enemy can’t be found, an enemy is manufactured. Putin has become, in the words of Senator Angus King, the new Hitler, out to grab Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe. The full-throated cries for war, echoed shamelessly by the press, are justified by draining the conflict of historical context, by elevating ourselves as the saviors and whoever we oppose, from Saddam Hussein to Putin, as the new Nazi leader. 

I don’t know where this will end up. We must remember, as Putin reminded us, that Russia is a nuclear power. We must remember that once you open the Pandora’s box of war it unleashes dark and murderous forces no one can control. I know this from personal experience. The match has been lit. The tragedy is that there was never any dispute about how the conflagration would start.

Good, clear, accurate concise explanation of the situation. The socialist NDP party led by superliar Jagmeet Singh, voted with dictator Trudeau’s far left Liberal party and now Trudeau will have this dictatorial power for several more weeks.

However, he is going to try to make it permanent and during this three weeks where Trudeau can ignore laws and individual rights, he is going to tear apart those who do not agree with him and his political enemies. Almost all of it will happen out of view and the legacy media, CBC, CTV, Global, Toronto Star, Globe & Mail etc. will not report any of it even if they hear about it because they are paid off with “subsidies” and Trudeau implemented so as to gain control of the press/information/thought control. Trudeau is using hundreds of millions of our tax dollars every years to give to “selected” media so as to control information and therefore thought. This is the first thing communist regimes do; they first want to control information and thought.

I said many times, as soon as Trudeau was bizarrely elected as prime minister of Canada that authoritarian takeover of Canada was his goal from the beginning.

I said he was going to seize more and more power piece by piece, far beyond what a Canadian prime minister is supposed to have; which he has been doing. Some attempts have been stopped, others have succeeded. I said that if he ever had a chance he would seize absolute authoritarian dictatorial power. And he has done just that. I had no idea how he could possibly be able to get this absolute power, but I said multiple times that if he had a chance he would do it. And he has.

And now I am saying that he is going to try to make this authoritarian dictatorial power permanent. I hoped I was wrong about the other things and unfortunately I wasn’t. Of course I hope I’m wrong about this.

One more point. Chrystia Freeland is making many if not most of the moves behind the scenes and they are being guided by the World Economic Forum in their shared agenda of imposing a global authoritarian, totalitarian government system that works with the large corporations to control all wealth and own all property.

The agenda is called “the great reset” and their slogan is “You will own nothing and you will be happy.” Of course someone will have to own all of the “everything” that people used to own. One guess at who that would be. Of course. Them. You will be allotted digital credits to rent things that they permit based on your own “social credit score”. If you say the wrong things or have the wrong opinions or jay walk or whatever they will just shut off your credits and you can no longer rent anything. Sound familiar? Yes. That’s happening in Canada right now to specific targeted people who had the “wrong” opinions and who wanted their freedom back and so supported a convoy of trucks going to peacefully demonstrate for their freedoms.

So does this sound like a conspiracy theory, like the forced vaccines (extreme coercion is force), vax passports, extreme restrictions, etc were all once conspiracy theories? Well, the founder and head of the World Economic Forum is seen in a recently surfaced video saying that Trudeau and more than half of his cabinet are disciples of the “World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders” program. He also talked about how they penetrate governments to impose their control over countries. And of course, their main agenda is the great reset, which Trudeau has specifically promoted such as in a zoom speech to the United Nations, which is also on board with the great reset using the name “Agenda 2030”.

Jagmeet Singh also has a profile on the WEF site. I have not looked in to whether he went through the program. But he was responsible for allowing Trudeau to seize authoritarian power by having his socialist party vote to support the so-called “Emergency” Act.

LONDON/SINGAPORE (Reuters) – HSBC said Hong Kong’s strict curbs on travel and social interaction are hurting the economy and may impact the ability to hire and keep staff in the Asian financial hub, in one of the strongest comments yet by a global lender on the city’s tough measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The evolving Covid-19 restrictions in Hong Kong, including travel, public gathering and social distancing restrictions, are impacting the Hong Kong economy, and may affect the ability to attract and retain staff,” the lender said on Tuesday.

The comments came as the Asia-focused lender reported its annual profit more than doubled. It said, however, it expects a weaker performance in its wealth management business in Asia in the first quarter of this year.

Daily infections numbers in Hong Kong have risen sharply this year, reaching a record 7,533 cases on Monday, overwhelming the government’s testing, hospital and quarantine capacities.

The Chinese territory is following Beijing’s “zero-COVID” policy rather than adapting to life with the virus.

As a result of that policy, more expats are thinking of leaving, and global banks, asset managers and corporate law firms are facing up to many of their staff exiting after annual bonuses are paid out in the first three months of the year. 

Economists say that without unprecedented relief measures in Hong Kong’s 2022-23 budget on Wednesday, it’s hard to see how the economy can avoid contracting again after emerging last year out of its most prolonged recessions, which lasted from 2019 to 2020.

HSBC’s comments came after Bill Winters, chief executive of Standard Chartered, last week said the city’s travel curbs could in the long run hurt its status as a financial hub compared to other regional centres.

The party’s brand is so toxic in the small towns 100 miles northeast of Pittsburgh that some liberals have removed bumper stickers and yard signs and refuse to acknowledge publicly their party affiliation. These Democrats are used to being outnumbered by the local Republican majority, but as their numbers continue to dwindle, those who remain are feeling increasingly isolated and unwelcome in their own communities.

Billionaire Bill Gates admitted that the omicron variant has created a high level of natural immunity and has moved out into the world faster than the vaccines.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, the Microsoft co-founder was asked to assess where the world is today regarding the pandemic in light of vaccines; he lamented that the world had failed to distribute vaccines faster, allowing for the virus to mutate into the omicron variant that has infected a lot of people as hospitalization rates decline.

“Sadly, the virus itself, particularly, the variant called omicron, is a type of vaccine, that is it creates both B-cell and T-cell immunity, and it’s done a better job getting out to the world population than we have with vaccines,” he lamented.

Gates noted that surveys in Africa show that up to 80 percent of people have either been vaccinated or have been infected with one of the variants.

“That means the chance of severe disease, which is mainly associated with being elderly and having obesity or diabetes, those risks are now dramatically reduced because of that infection, exposure,” he said.

Nearly 500 People Arrested in California in Human Trafficking Sting Operation

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva coordinated a state-wide law enforcement effort annual multi-agency statewide initiative that focuses on rescuing victims of sexual slavery and human trafficking. The annual campaign also works to identify and arrest their captors, and disrupt demand for victims. The operation occurred the week before the Super Bowl, conducted at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

“All across the state, law enforcement agencies joined us to send a message to pimps, exploiters and buyers that it is unacceptable to buy another human being for sexual purposes,” Villanueva said.

In a Contra Costa County suburb, authorities captured a man allegedly running a nationwide prostitution ring. A search with a warrant discovered two handguns, an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, a shotgun, body armor and 100 rounds of ammunition, according to the sheriff.

Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco described how his department uncovered people involved in the shadowy business. He said task force officers placed decoy advertisements on popular classified advertisement websites commonly used for the solicitation of prostitution. The officers then responded to people who replied to their ads. Once an agreement for prostitution was reached any customers who arrived at the agreed-upon meeting place, were arrested.

Other task force officers responded to escort advertisements that were posted online in the area and negotiated for acts of prostitution. Females who showed up to meet the undercover officers were interviewed. Women whom officers determined were not victims of human trafficking were arrested.

US Agencies Quietly Studying Reports of Post-Vaccination Neurological Issues

News that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) have identified additional adverse side effects related to COVID vaccines is alarming but not surprising.

According to The Epoch Times, Dr. Janet Woodcock, principal deputy director of the FDA, agency epidemiologists, Dr. Peter Marks, and a team at the NIH’s National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) have studied reports of neurologic side effects from the COVID-19 vaccines since at least Sept. 13, 2021.

According to the E.T. report, regulatory officials are not properly reporting adverse reaction data, “despite a growing recognition among experts that at least some issues are likely linked to the vaccines.”

According to a Sept. 16, 2021 email reviewed by The Epoch Times, Woodcock noted she was “sorry” people were reporting post-vaccine problems but that she was trying to find ways to address the problem. 

Woodcock also wrote that she was researching the “neurologic side effects from the COVID 19 vaccines.”

Epstein-linked modeling agent found dead in French jail cell

According to the Paris prosecutor’s office, a modeling agency executive who had ties to infamously convicted US financier Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his French jail cell on Saturday, where he was being held in connection with the rape of minors and trafficking of children for sexual exploitation.

The death of the agent, Jean-Luc Brunel, was being investigated by Paris police, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Brunel was arrested in August as part of an investigation into his involvement with Epstein. Brunel, who is known as the godfather of modeling in France and represented models including Thylane Blondeau and Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber, started the MC2 Modeling agency.

His lawyer, however, denied the allegations. His lawyer previously stated that Brunel fought accusations leveled against him in the press, but that he was available to talk to judicial authorities.

In 2020, Brunel was arrested at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris as a result of a sweeping French investigation prompted by sex-trafficking allegations against Epstein. In 2019, while awaiting trial, Epstein killed himself in an NYC prison.

French investigators viewed Epstein as a frequent buddy of theirs, and they considered him crucial to the investigation into whether US financier Jeffrey Epstein and his company had sexually exploited women and girls. He resided in Paris for extended periods of time.

Since the French investigation was launched in 2019, several women have come forward as victims and spoke to authorities.

The prosecutor’s office in Paris announced Friday that the case was transferred to a judge who will investigate allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse.

On Monday, Britain’s Prince Andrew agreed to a settlement in which he was accused of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl supplied to him by Epstein. The agreement, which Andrew agreed to make a substantial contribution to his accuser’s charity, avoids a court appearance.

Prince Andrew of UK was involved with Epstein and is a friend of Alan Dershowitz. Several women have come forward to accuse him of being involved with Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, but they dropped the case once he made a settlement with them.

A new Pentagon audit of last year’s U.S. military-led civilian evacuation of Afghanistan found that dozens of Afghans considered potentially dangerous were brought to the United States.

According to the Department of Defense (DoD) Inspector General report (pdf) published Tuesday, DoD’s National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) has identified “50 Afghan personnel in the United States with information in DoD records that would indicate potentially significant security concerns.”

And NGIC has not located most of those Afghan individuals. The report says, for example, the agency made an attempt in September 2021 to locate 31 of the security risk Afghans, and “of those 31, only 3 could be located.”

The report also says the National Counterterrorism Center (NTCT) was not accessing all available data from the Pentagon when vetting Afghan refugees that came over during the evacuation.

This is reviving concerns about the screening process used for Operation Allies Welcome—a resettlement plan for Afghan allies launched by President Joe Biden shortly after the Taliban takeover of the country in August 2021.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki had previously said during a briefing Sept. 1, 2021, that she could “absolutely assure” nobody is coming into the United States who “has not been through a thorough screening and background check process.”

Following the Inspector General report’s publication, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) released a statement: “Following the Biden administration’s chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, I expressed concern about the administration’s lackluster efforts to screen evacuees flooding from the terrorist safe haven. According to a new report by the Pentagon watchdog, the situation is far worse than we thought.”

In August, NGIC entered into a data-sharing agreement with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) which led to the discovery that Afghans with derogatory information in the DoD Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) database who were believed to be in the United States.

The audit recommends this inter-agency arrangement be extended beyond its Dec. 27, 2021, deadline so NGIC can complete its analytic review of Afghan evacuees for derogatory information.

The Pentagon is providing temporary housing for Afghan refugees at eight of its facilities: Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia; Fort Pickett, Virginia; Fort Lee, Virginia; Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico; Fort McCoy, Wisconsin; Fort Bliss, Texas; Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey; and Camp Atterbury, Indiana.

Senate to Take Up Extreme Abortion Bill at Month's End, and 'Pro-Life' Democrat Will Vote to Allow Debate

The U.S. Senate will vote later this month on the Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA), which the U.S. House of Representatives passed last September mostly along party lines, though Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) split with his party to vote against it. Pro-abortion Democrats laud how the bill will codify Roe v. Wade into federal law. Such extreme legislation will also repeal virtually all pro-life successes at the state level. While the bill is unlikely to get the 60 votes needed to overcome the filibuster, one so-called pro-life Democrat issued a statement on Friday indicating he will vote to proceed with debate on it.

The Democrat in question is Sen. Bob Casey Jr., of Pennsylvania. His father, Bob Casey Sr., was a pro-life stalwart and former Democratic governor of Pennsylvania and whose name appears in the 1992 U.S. Supreme Court case of Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey. 

It is not clear if Casey will vote for the actual legislation. Such a statement was enough to earn condemnation from pro-life groups, though. 

Kristen Day, the executive director of Democrats for Life of America (DFLA) was so shocked by the senator’s statement that she questioned if his account had been hacked.

Although the organization appeared to enthusiastically support Sen. Casey in his 2018 re-election bid, there are also more recent mentions of the senator on the DFLA website criticizing his actions and voting records. 

DEMOCRATS FOR LIFE CONDEMNS SENATOR CASEY’S VOTES TO APPEASE ABORTION LOBBY,” read a release from last August, taking issue with his voting against a 20-week abortion ban.

Not only did that release include a statement from Day questioning “What would his father say[,]” it also addressed the midterms, now less than nine months away. 

“His votes [on August 10, 2021] will assist Republicans to win more seats in the mid-terms since a majority of Americans oppose his radical positions on abortion,” said Day. “There has to be something more to his drastic change from opposition to abortion to unreserved support for abortion. I have requested a meeting with Senator Casey to gain an understanding of what he meant when he said he was still with us on Hyde. He cannot call himself a Pro-Life Democrat and not give the even most basic protections to the unborn. There really is no justification I can think of for his votes. I am eager to hear what he was to say.”

While Casey had an 80 percent rating from DFLA in 2015, Project Vote Smart indicates a more pro-abortion position, certainly in contrast to his father, based on more recent ratings.

NARAL Pro-Choice America gave Sen. Casey a 72 percent rating in 2020, while Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s rating for him for 2021-2022 was 67 percent. 

The Family Research Council (FRC) Action, gave him an 11 percent rating for 2021, while the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) gave him a 25 percent rating for that year. The Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) meanwhile gave him a 0 percent rating. 

In a statement for Townhall, Maria Gallagher, legislative director of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation, an affiliate of National Right to Life, also referenced Bob Casey Sr. 

“We are deeply disappointed with Senator Bob Casey’s decision to vote ‘yes’ for debate for a measure that should be called ‘The Abortion Without Limits Bill.’ The bill would codify the tragic U.S. Supreme Court ruling Roe v. Wadewhich has resulted in the deaths of more than 63 million preborn children and has devastated countless mothers who are left to grieve children lost to abortion,” Gallagher said. 

“Senator Casey’s father, the late Governor Robert Casey, Sr., consistently placed principle over politics to defend the rights of the most vulnerable among us. One has to wonder what Casey’s Dad would think of his son’s capitulation to the abortion industry,” Gallagher added.

In a release from the SBA List, the group’s president, Marjorie Dannenfelser not only condemned Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for having filed cloture on Thursday, but also called Sen. Casey out by name.

“Senator Casey’s flip to supporting abortion on demand is a disgrace to the legacy of his hero father. Like that of Joe Biden, it exposes how the Democratic Party has caved to pro-abortion extremism,” said Dannenfelser. “Casey’s overall voting record is not pro-life, yet as late as 2020 he voted for legislation to stop late-term abortions when unborn babies can feel pain. Now with millions of lives at stake in the Dobbs case, he stands with Chuck Schumer and the abortion lobby to advance the ‘Abortion Until Birth Act’ and enshrine an unlimited abortion ‘right’ in federal law – a radical agenda Americans across the political spectrum reject. We urge every one of our Senate allies to stand firm against this assault on innocent life and on democracy, and we will work tirelessly to hold members of Congress accountable,” she continued.

Sen. Casey expressed hope in the tweeted out statement that “as part of this debate we will also focus on new and substantial funding for pregnant women, infants, and children.”

Nowhere in the bill’s text however, which reads as extreme as one can get when it comes to promoting abortion, is there mention of reducing abortions or for looking after pregnant women, infants, and children other than to impose abortion on them.

The bill has support from the White House as communicated by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, which she did in light of last month’s March for Life.

The Great Reset

Let’s look at The Great Reset that we all keep hearing about. Here’s a little bit of information on this new agenda that is not actually very new at all come to find out.

The Great Reset is the name of the 50th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), held in June 2020. It brought together high-profile business and political leaders, convened by Charles, Prince of Wales and the WEF, with the theme of rebuilding society and the economy following the COVID-19 pandemic.

WEF chief executive officer Klaus Schwab described three core components of the Great Reset:

International Monetary Fund director Kristalina Georgieva listed three key aspects of the sustainable response: green growth, smarter growth, and fairer growth.

1. the first involves creating conditions for a “stakeholder economy”;

2. the second component includes building in a more “resilient, equitable, and sustainable” way—based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics which would incorporate more green public infrastructure projects;

3. the third component is to “harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” for public good. In her keynote speech opening the dialogues,

The launch of The Great Reset

At the launch event for the Great Reset, Prince Charles listed key areas for action, similar to those listed in his Sustainable Markets Initiative, introduced in January 2020.

In June 2020, the theme of the January 2021 50th World Economic Forum Annual Meeting was announced as “The Great Reset”, connecting both in-person and online global leaders in Davos, Switzerland with a multi-stakeholder network in 400 cities around the world. The Great Reset was also to be the main theme of the WEF’s summit in Lucerne in May 2021, which was postponed to 2022.

The World Economic Forum generally suggests that a globalised world is best managed by a self-selected coalition of multinational corporations, governments and civil society organizations (CSOs). It sees periods of global instability – such as the financial crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic – as windows of opportunity to intensify its programmatic efforts. Some critics hence see the Great Reset as a continuation of the World Economic Forum’s strategy of focusing on connotated activist topics such as environmental protection and to disguise the organization’s true plutocratic goalssocial entrepreneurship

By mid-April 2020, against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, the COVID-19 recession, the 2020 Russia–Saudi Arabia oil price war and the resulting “collapse in oil prices”, the former Governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, described possible fundamental changes in an article in The Economist. Carney said that in a post-COVID world “stakeholder capitalism” will be tested as “companies will be judged by ‘what they did during the war,’ how they treated their employees, suppliers and customers, by who shared and who hoarded.” The “gulf between what markets value and what people value” will close.

In a post-COVID world, it is reasonable to expect that more people will want improvements in risk management, in social and medical safety nets, and will want more attention paid to scientific experts. This new hierarchy of values will call for a reset on the way we deal with climate change, which, like the pandemic, is a global phenomenon. No one can “self-isolate” from climate change so we all need to “act in advance and in solidarity”. In his 2020 BBC Reith Lectures, Carney developed his theme of value hierarchies as related to three crises—credit, COVID and climate.

According to a May 15, 2020 WEF article, COVID-19 offers an opportunity to “reset and reshape” the world in a way that is more aligned with the United Nations 2030

In June 2020, Klaus Schwab, who founded the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 1971 and is currently its CEO, described the three core components of the Great Reset.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), as climate change, inequality and poverty gained even greater urgency during the pandemic.

This includes resetting labour markets, as more people work remotely speeding up the process of the “future of work”. The reset will advance work already begun to prepare for the transition to the Fourth Industrial Revolution by upskilling and reskilling workers. Another post-COVID concern raised by the WEF is food security including the “risk of disruptions to food supply chains”, and the need forglobal policy coordination” to preventfood protectionism from becoming the post-pandemic new normal.”.

In her June 3, 2020 keynote address opening the Great Reset forum, a joint initiative of the WEC and the Prince of Wales, Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said that there has been a “massive injection of fiscal stimulus to help countries deal with this crisis” and that it was of “paramount importance that this growth should lead to a greener, smarter, fairer world in the future”.

Georgieva listed three aspects of the Great Reset; green growth, smarter growth and fairer growth. Government investments and government incentives for private investors could “support low-carbon and climate-resilient growth” such as “planting mangroves, land restoration, reforestation or insulating buildings.” With low oil prices, the timing was right to eliminate fossil fuel subsidies and introduce carbon pricing to incentivize future investments. The COVID-19 pandemic presents an opportunity to shape an economic recovery and the future direction of global relations, economies and priorities.

In one of the Great Reset Dialogues, John Kerry and other members of a WEF dialogue discussed how to rebuild the “social contract” in a post-COVID world.

According to Prince Charles, the economic recovery must put the world on a path to sustainability, which would include carbon pricing. Prince Charles emphasized that the private sector would be the main drivers of the plan. The market should adapt to the current reality by aiming for fairer results, ensuring that investments are aimed at mutual progress including accelerating ecologically friendly investments, and to start a fourth industrial revolution, creating digital economic and public infrastructure. According to Klaus Schwab, they would not change the economic system, but rather improve it to what he considers to be “responsible capitalism”. HA!

The Short Scoop on Klaus Martin Schwab

Schwab was born on 30 March 1938 and is a German engineer and economist best known as the founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum.

During the earlier years of his career, he served on a number of company boards, such as The Swatch Group, The Daily Mail Group, and Vontobel Holding. He is a former member of the steering committee of the Bilderberg Group

The Swiss radio and television corporation SRF mentioned the salary level of Klaus in the context of ongoing public contributions to the WEF and the fact that the Forum does not pay any federal taxes. Moreover, the former Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung journalist Jürgen Dunsch made the criticism that the WEF’s financial reports were not very transparent since neither income nor expenditure were broken down. I’m certain there are very good reasons for concerns about how he maintained his wealth over the years but that’s another dig for another day.

The Bilderberg Group Meetings are secret and by invitation only

The Bilderberg meeting (also known as the Bilderberg Group) is an annual conference established in 1954 to foster dialogue between Europe and North America. The group’s agenda, originally to prevent another world war, is now defined as bolstering a consensus around free market Western capitalism and its interests around the globe.

The conference was initiated by several people, including Polish politician-in-exile Józef Retinger who, concerned about the growth of anti-Americanism in Western Europe, proposed an international conference at which leaders from European countries and the United States would be brought together with the aim of promoting Atlanticismbetter understanding between the cultures of the United States and Western Europe to foster cooperation on political, economic, and defense issues.

Participants include political leaders, experts from industry, finance, academia, and the media, numbering between 120 and 150. Attendees are entitled to use information gained at meetings, but not attribute it to a named speaker. This is to encourage candid debate, while maintaining privacy – a provision that has fed conspiracy theories from both the left and right.

In 2002 in Them: Adventures with Extremists, author Jon Ronson wrote that the group has a small central office in Holland [sic] which each year decides what country will host the forthcoming meeting. The host country then has to book an entire hotel for four days, plus arrange catering, transport and security. To fund this, the host solicits donations from sympathetic corporations such as Barclays, Fiat Automobiles, GlaxoSmithKline, Heinz, Nokia and Xerox.

This brings me to the Plandemic

Since these “Globalist” seemed to be so concerned about the all of us normal folks and managed to sling trillions and trillions of money around like it grew on tree’s… Just who were the winners from lockdown nation?

And now that we have actual evidence of collateral damage from the lockdowns around the world why is almost the entire world protesting and demanding freedom? Why are we all in a bad way still and having such a difficult time getting back to normal? One would think that the current gas prices, food shortages in certain areas and the overall economic crisis would persuade even those on the far left who generally support the heavy hand of government to take a look around and question the people in power that are controlling the pathetic narrative. It would be apparent to a first grader they are all about complete control.

Big businesses scored a “$1.4 trillion payday” during the pandemic. Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google and Microsoft increased their profits by 45% last year. “Wow, bring back more pandemics!” they must be shouting around the boardroom table.

Shutting down the economy hurt the poor the most and vastly widened the chasm between rich and poor. Lockdowns squashed small startup businesses, hurt low-income workers whose jobs were first in line to be destroyed, and devastated educational advances of children in the worst school districts.

For example, we have learned that high-achieving children did fine with remote learning. However, those who scored below average in school performance or from low-income families without computer skills tended to tune out and shut down online lessons completely. We know from teachers that as many as one-third of children rarely, if ever, even turned on a computer during the lockdowns. The long-term educational setbacks for these children as they grow to adult age could be devastating.

It’s not rocket science to figure out that the wealthy got wealthier! So, Just who were the BIG winners from lockdown nation? Let’s start with the corporate titans: Walmart, Google, Amazon, Walgreens, Apple, McDonald’s, Pfizer, Goldman Sachs, etc. THEY’ were rewarded with the designation of “essential” by the politicians. Their doors stayed open. They raked in dollars by the millions.

You can find all the information you need to confirm these facts. For instance there was is a headline from MarketWatch earlier this month: “Big Tech’s pandemic year produces mind-boggling financial results.” There was also was this nugget from the front page of The New York Times: “Wealth inequality is the highest since World War II.” George Soros, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett won the lottery.

I’m usually not a Big Tech or Big Pharma basher and actually like to see the stock market rise. It means people are making money. If these corporations make great products or can sell valuable services that people need, I am all for it! Yay for capitalism. Everyone’s happy.

But within the case of of our current situation, we see the hypocrisy of the left in the media shining big and bright. The left denounces inequality, but it embraces the policies that allow the uneven playing field. The entire situation baffles me to the core.

History lessons keep repeating Thema. They are like a skip on a vinyl record. Why on earth would anyone want to relive these deliberately concocted scenerios ridden with fear and oppression? What happened to faith in personal judgment. Big government creates economic unfairness. It never solves it.. When will people turn off the TV and stop believing the propaganda and LIVE LIFE?

South African doctor who discovered Omicron refuses to ‘create fear’ by hyping variant’s threat

Angelique Coetzee asked her secretary to “give me another Nexium” to deal with the international pressure she was facing to deem COVID variant worse than South African doctors were seeing.

In an interview on Just the News Not Noise, Coetzee, chair of the South African Medical Association, described the pressure she faced from public health authorities worldwide to portray the now-dominant variant of COVID-19 as more severe than she was witnessing in real time.

“I said to my secretary, ‘Just give me another Nexium,'” she recalled, referring to a medication that reduces stomach acid. “That’s how I survive” and “stick to my guns.”

She declined to name which officials were particularly bearing down on her to conform South Africa’s first-in-the-world experience with Omicron to the international narrative that any new variant would be deadly.

Coetzee previously said “all of these scientists and politicians who aren’t from South Africa were contacting me telling me I was wrong” when she publicly described typical Omicron symptoms as “a bit of a headache” and “more of a scratchy” throat.

“I’m not going to put my head into that hornet’s nest” by naming the international heavyweights who put politics over science, she told the podcast. “They know what they said … unfortunately, we all have to work together.”

Coetzee believes that scientists, “especially in the beginning,” were frightened by Omicron “because all they saw was the mutations and the immune escape possibility.”

When she and her colleagues started to refer to the variant as “a mild disease, we were told, ‘You cannot say it’s a mild disease, it’s a severe disease, look at the mutations. And it’s too early … You should not say it out there.'”

She’s not saying “it’s not a severe disease for people with comorbidities” or for those who are unvaccinated. “They could still die from it,” Coetzee told the podcast. “But for the majority of people, it’s a mild disease, and I refuse to change the story.”

The doctor was not simply describing her own patients. In the first three weeks observing Omicron, “I kept on checking with all the doctors in South Africa,” especially general practitioners, she recalled. 

“Every day we spoke,” and she asked whether others saw “a different pattern” or more admissions, Coetzee said. “They kept on telling me … there’s no overflow of patients.”

This was a surprise, as was the timing of Omicron, which the doctor said arrived “a whole month too early” given previous waves. Her first thought: “Please, not now.” 

They were still thinking in terms of the “very scary” Delta variant, but the symptoms turned out to be completely different. 

“The first seven patients that I saw on the same day, we started to treat them exactly the same as with Delta, as we didn’t know,” Coetzee recounted. “And it took me around about four or five days to start to realize that the symptoms are much milder,” with safe at-home treatment, “no need for oxygen” and apparently no “cardiovascular side effects.” Instead patients had “myalgia, muscle aches and pains, headaches, low back ache, or intercostal pain.”

At that stage, they alerted authorities and took another five days to confirm this was a new variant. But the high number of mutations was all they cared about, and futile travel bans soon followed. 

“The virus is everywhere, loves to travel,” Coetzee said, and COVID testing wouldn’t catch early infections in those who were flying abroad. “It’s like a storm in a teacup …  It’s already there. You just didn’t know it.”

She emphasized the value of South Africa’s experience for international COVID policy, since the country “started to vaccinate only in our third wave.”

Regardless of vaccination, recovery from infection or both, “the chances that you can get mild disease is quite quite high,” Coetzee said, but unvaccinated patients are more likely to have the severe end of mild symptoms, such as headaches and fatigue.

“We do see that in our ICUs, 80% are unvaccinated,” she said, while those who are vaccinated, especially older than 50 with comorbidities or conditions such as lupus, will be “much more safer.” 

While she credited face masks, social distancing and hand-washing for a decline in “normal upper respiratory tract infections” in South Africa, Coetzee warned that people should only wear “clean” masks and replace them regularly. “Otherwise, it becomes a bacterial trap for yourself and trap for other viruses.”

She’s not confident that the world will ever know where COVID originated, or “whether it was tampered with. … We’ll have to learn to live with it. I don’t think it’s really going to go away.”
